"Patient Costs of Parkinson's Disease" In July 2008, the Foundation for Neural Repair will fund a study to explore the direct costs of Parkinson's disease to patients. Not only can a Parkinson's disease diagnosis herald dramatic changes in lifestyle for patients and their families in terms of physical health, it can also significantly alter the financial landscape of those living with it. Scheduled for publication in the Fall of 2008, the FNR will publish the results of this study and host a series of webinars to explore how these costs can be shouldered.
