Our Goals

Research Themes

The Foundation for Neural Repair is committed to understanding specific questions relating to brain development, cognition, and specific brain diseases connected to aging. By studying the long-term impacts of brain disease on physiological and behavioral development, FNR will promote new approaches to patient care that integrate diverse disciplines, including surgery, medicine, psychology, research and rehabilitation. At the heart of our pioneering, patient-centered research is the application of human neural stem cell therapy for neurodegenerative disorders and trauma.

  • Neurodegenerative disorders and neural stem cell therapies
  • Neurobiology of aging
  • Cognitive processing and integration in normal and pathological states
